Pilates (Adults & Teens 15+)
Wednesdays October 9-November 13

Fee: $45 Residents/$50 Non-Residents, per 6 week session ($10 Drop-Ins)
The Pilates method of body conditioning is a unique system of stretching/strengthening exercises that work the entire body. Expect to flatten your abs, strengthen your core muscles, increase flexibility, firm buttocks/thighs, and improve your posture. For all fitness levels. Bring a mat, light hand weights (3lbs or less) and water. 

Pound® (Adults and Teens 15+)
Tuesdays November 12-December 17 
Time: 6:30p.m.-7:15p.m.
Location: Moon Township Municipal Building
Fee: $45 Moon residents/$50 non-residents ($10 Drop In)
POUND® is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, strength movements, plyometric and isometric poses. Through continual upper body motion using our lightly weighed exercise drumsticks, called Ripstix, you’ll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, POUNDing off pounds as each song flies by!

Totally Toned (Adults & Teens 15+)
Dates: Mondays November 4-December 16 (No class December 2)
Times: 7:15p.m.-8:15pm
Location: Moon High School Fitness Room
Fee: $45 Moon residents/$50 non-residents (per 6 week session)
This class is designed to help tone your entire body including abs, thighs, back, arms, and glutes. It is appropriate for all fitness levels. Bring hand weights, a mat and water.

Yoga: Basics and More (Adults & Teens 15+)
Dates: Tuesdays November 5-26 (Nov 5 class at Robin Hill)
Time: 7:30p.m.-8:30pm
Location: Moon Township Municipal Building
Fee: $40 Moon residents/$45 Non-residents -per 4 week session ($12 Drop In)
        $60 Moon residents/$65 Non-residents -per 6 week session ($12 Drop In)
Whether you are yoga-curious or yoga-proficient, this is the class for you. No experience required. Instructor, Jen Stratakis E-RYT, will lead you through an hour-long class, which includes standing and seated poses, breathwork and guided relaxation. Modifications are given to accommodate all levels of yoga experience. With regular practice, yoga can improve lung capacity, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, mental calm and more. Participants should bring a yoga mat and water. Namaste

The recreational basketball league returns for another season. This is a league for girls and boys designed with a focus on skill development, including passing, shooting and dribbling. The league is open to all skill levels.

Enjoy open swim at the Moon High School Pool.  You can swim laps, improve your water skills, or just simply have a great time.  Children under the age of 12 must be acompanied by a guardian or adult. Cash only accepted at the door. 

SKWIM (Ages 12 and Up)
Dates: Sundays: October 20th, November 10th, 17th, and 24th, and December 8th and 22nd
Time: 2-4 PM
Location: Moon High School Pool
Fee: $25 for session or $5 drop in
SKWIM™ is a, fun, fast-paced surface water-disk sport. It is easy to learn and a ton of fun to play. People of all ages and swimming ability can get in the water, grab a disk and have a blast. The game is played with a soft foam disk that skims across the surface of the water. Team members, swimming with special fins, pass the disk to one another and score by skimming the disk into the center trap of their opponent’s floating goal. The goal is circular and allows players to score from 360°.

Do you feel ready to stay home alone, watch your brothers and sisters while your parents are gone, or babysit for younger children? Then maybe it's time for Safe Sitter®. Safe Sitter® is for young teens in grades 6-8 who are ready to learn the skills they need to care for themselves and younger children.  In addition, Safe Sitter® teaches young teens life and business skills, so that they know how to be prepared, be responsible, and be considerate whether they are babysitting or doing odd jobs for family, friends, or neighbors.
You'll have fun. You'll learn a lot. And at the end of the day, you can proudly say, "I am a Safe Sitter®!"
