  • Programs with a drop-in option do not require pre-registration.
  • Signup in person at the Parks and Recreation office.

  • Send in a check to our mailing address with the participants name, date of birth, address, phone and e-mail. You will not be officially registered in the class until you receive a confirmation e-mail.

For all classes: 

  • Space is limied, please register online or call the Moon Park office at 412-262-1703 ext 403. 
  • This class is weather dependent rain prevents the class from running, an additional class will be added to the session. 
  • The Robin Hill Center is closed to the public, for classes on the Robin Hill Patio, please walk around the main building to the back patio where the class will be held. Public bathrooms are available at the entrance of the park. 
  • For classes at Moon Park, multiple public bathrooms are available in the park.

Women's Volleyball League (Ages 18+)
Dates: Wednesdays, February 23-April 13 (No games April 6)
Time: Games at 6:30 and 7:30 pm
Location: Moon Area Middle School Main Gym
Fee: $40 resident, $45 non-resident
Form a team of friends and neighbors to pass, dig and volley! All skill levels are welcome. Join an existing team or start a new one!
This volleyball league is open only to women 18 and over.
WHEN REGISTERING PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR TEAM NAME or if you would like to join a new team.
Registration is required to participate.The schedule will be made after all registrations are completed and will be distributed as soon as possible.

Hip Hop Cardio (Adults and Teens 14+)
Dates:      Thursday, October 14 & 28, November 4 & 11, December 2 & 9
                               January 6-February 24 (No class 1/20 & 2/17)

Time:        7:00 – 8:00pm

Join Amy for some cardio dance exercise! You can take the moves up to make them harder or modify for any fitness level.  Our new instructor wants to help everyone with fun fitness through dance where they can leave feeling like they had a great workout and had fun!  Class will include warm up and cool down also.  Amy has been teaching Zumba, Insanity and more since 2009.

Fee:  $45 Residents/$50 Non-Residents, per 6 week session.
The Pilates method of body conditioning is a unique system of stretching/strengthening exercises that work the entire body. Expect to flatten your abs, strengthen your core muscles, increase flexibility, firm buttocks/thighs, and improve your posture. For all fitness levels. Bring a mat, light hand weights (3lbs or less) and water.

This class has a max participation number of 18 people. Please register online. For more information about space availability for drop-ins, please email  This class will be held outside. Class will be weather dependent. If rain prevents the class from happening, we will add an additional class to the end of the session. Restrooms are available at the entrance of the park.  A total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs, abs, arms and burns fat. This workout includes elements of ballet, Pilates, and traditional toning exercises. The class starts with standing barrework. The class ends with core work and a series of deep stretches. Bring a mat and a pair of 1-3lb dumb bells. For all fitness levels.

Yoga Beginners and Beyond (Adults & Teens 15+)
Dates: Thursday Oct 28 - Nov 11 (3 Weeks)
                         January 6-27 (No class 1/20)
                         February 3-24 (No class 2/17)

Time:        Thurs 5:30-6:30pm
Fee:          $30 – Moon Resident  $35 Non Moon Resident (Per 3 week session)

Yoga-curious or yoga-nervous? Then this is the class for you...No experience required! Instructor Jen Stratakis E-RYT 500, will lead you through an hour-long class, which includes standing and seated poses, breathwork, and guided relaxation. Modifications are given to accommodate everyone. With regular practice, yoga can improve lung capacity, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, mental calm, and more. Bring a mat, water bottle, and any other yoga props you may have. Blocks are especially helpful.  

Pound® Fitness (Adults & Teens 15+) 
Dates:  Tuesdays November 2-December 7

Time:        7:00 – 7:45pm
Fee:          $45 – Moon Resident $50 Non Moon Resident (Per 6 week session)
POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, strength movements, plyometric and isometric poses. Through continual upper body motion using our lightly weighed exercise drumsticks, called Ripstix, you?ll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, POUNDing off pounds as each song flies by!  Please bring a mat and water.

Totally Toned (Adults & Teens 15+)

Dates:  Mondays November 1-December 6
                          January 3-February 7
                          February 14-March 21

Time:        6:30 – 7:30pm
Fee:          $45 – Moon Resident $50 Non Moon Resident (Per 6 week session)
This class has a max participation number of 15 people. Please register online. There are no drop-ins for this class. This class is designed to help tone your entire body including abs, thighs, back, arms, and glutes. It is appropriate for all fitness levels. Bring hand weights and a mat.

Pilates with Kimber (Adults & Teens 15+)

Time:                  10:30am-11:15am
Fee for Session: $45 – Moon Resident $50 Non Moon Resident (Per 6 week session)
This class has a max participation number of 12 people. Please register online. This class will incorporate all the key principles of Pilates such as postural alignment, breathing, core stability, controlled movement and flexibility. They are low-impact. Class format may also be combined with other props such as weights, balls, therabands, rings.  Bring your mat and water for this fun-lengthening-amazing workout.
