Moon Township Veteran's Breakfast To-Go

Friday, November 6th
9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Robin Hill Park (Drive Through Event)

In honor of all of those who have served our country, and in recognition and gratitude, we invite all veterans and their guest to enjoy breakfast on us. Due to the restrictions surrounding Covid-19 and our desire to keep the honorable veterans of this country safe, this event will be a drive through breakfast. A catered hot breakfast will be available for pick up at Robin Hill during the event hours. We look forward to celebrating in person with everyone in 2021.

A big thank you to our sponsors. Without them community events like this would not be possible. Moon Township's Veteran's Breakfast is sponsored by: Heritage Valley Health System, Express Employment Professionals, Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering Inc., and Valley Ambulance.

Moon Lights Holiday Festival

Date: Saturday, December 5th
Time: 5-8pm
Moon Park

The Moon Lights Holiday Festival returns to Moon Township.  This annual festival began several years ago and outgrew its original location at the Township building.  Last year it moved to Moon Park and included the lighting of all park pavilions.  This year we are adding new light displays.  Each year we will be building on these displays.  We hope to make Moon Park a destination for holiday light viewing.
Santa will arrive on the Firetruck at 5pm.  He will ride into the park and light our Moon Park Christmas Tree at the Rotary Pavilion.  Following the lighting of the tree, Santa will be available for socially distanced photos and visits with local children.  Bring your letters for Santa to drop in his mailbox.    The event will also feature performances by local dancers and musicians, food trucks, a smore’s station, and much more.  Check the full event schedule online at moonparks.org.
The safety of our community is our highest priority.  This event will adhere to current CDC guidelines surrounding Covid-19.

Greens & Things Sale and Holiday Craft Fair

Date: Saturday, December 5th
Time: 2-7pm
Moon Park

The Moon Garden Club is moving their annual Greens & Things Sale over to Moon Park and joining the Moon Lights Festival.  The Greens & Things sale will be located at the Brewer Toyota Pavilion.  Additional craft and food vendors will be located on the Moon Basketball Courts at the same time.  Please remember to dress for an outdoor sale, and that many vendors may only accept cash payments.

Holiday Light Drive Through

The lights at Moon Park will be lit for the first time at our Moon Light event on December 5th.  However, we invite the community to come out and enjoy the lights throughout the month of December.  Our final weekend for light viewing will be January 2nd and 3rd.   Our December park hours will feature 3 late nights each week.  These nights are perfect for family viewing and photos with the lights at the park.  The park will be open until 9pm on the following nights.  Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night through the first week of January 2021.
